It has been a fantastic start to the year at Grosvenor Lodge. We have got out and about lots, including walks at Hove Rec and Hove Park (normally finished with a coffee in the café), shopping (also followed by coffee!) and some sea air with the Pedal People.
Back at home we have had lots of visitors including Andy with his bowling alley, Pam from Rise which involved netball and a winning team. We also had a visit from the King himself – Elvis (which required a pre-session pamper and lots of beautiful nails!)
We love our regular visits from the baby club and look forward to getting the parachute out and seeing all the excitement, young and old!
We have also enjoyed arts and crafts. Art has the power to unlock memories and emotions, offering a gentle and meaningful connection for our residents living with Dementia.
Through colours, shapes, and expression, creativity becomes a bridge to moments of joy and comfort.
