Our Staff

Headed by Kim Long, the home’s manager since 1999, the team at Grosvenor Lodge are all  dedicated to caring for the individual needs of each resident, and work closely with local health care providers to ensure the elderly in our care enjoy an excellent quality of life.

We’re friendly, knowledgeable people, trained in areas such as safeguarding, handling of medicines, health and safety, and conditions like diabetes. We’re committed to forming genuine friendships with our residents, believing in encouraging independence, recognising personal fulfillment, and giving everyone in our care the freedom of choice.

Our team are all highly qualified, but most of all, they care deeply about caring.

Maria Holliday-Welch – Owner

Inspired by her father’s ethos at the family’s first care home, Fairdene Lodge, Maria worked with her sister Denise to build Grosvenor Lodge into the popular home it is today. Maria lives in Sussex with her family, and ensures both care homes keep the family philosophy strong.

Kim Long – Home Manager

Kim has been with Grosvenor Lodge for 30 years, and manager for 18, so brings not only plenty of experience, but a complete knowledge of the Grosvenor Lodge values we hold dear. In her spare time, Kim enjoys swimming, opera, pottery, and walks in the country.

Lea Bryant – Deputy Manager

Leah has worked at Grosvenor Lodge for over 10 years, having started as a carer and working her way up to the position of Deputy Manager. She is highly trained, with a Level 5 Health and Social Care. Her hobbies include gardening, musical theatre, and football.
