Our team is committed to supporting our residents to mange their health and wellbeing. We want our residents to enjoy their time with us, getting the most out of life and maintaining life skills which support independence and mobility.
Positive wellbeing means experiencing an overall feeling of happiness and satisfaction with life and is achieved through being able to do those things that bring you pleasure and contentment.
Wellbeing levels can be enhanced by taking part in a balance of activities that promote being physically active, mentally stimulated and socially connected.
Our Care Programmes focus on the individual, their interests and abilities and we create the plan accordingly. We might plan to go shopping once a week, or visit the beach, or watch a tennis match. Whatever the individual’s interests we work to find activities that they will enjoy, keeping hobbies going and finding new ones that promote wellbeing.
